Paper types
Printy uses eco-friendly papers certified by FSC/PEFC, the Blue Angel, ECF (chlorine-free), and the EU Ecolabel. Our product range includes high-quality recycled and natural papers, such as BioTop3 and Rebecca design natural. Our standard papers Inacopia Elite, Color Copy and Rebecca natural are acid-free and age-resistant in accordance with ISO 9706, making them ideal for archival purposes. We actively and conscientiously channel our paper into Munich’s circular recycling economy.
Digital Printing – sustainable?
For small to medium print runs, our digital printing stands out as a environmentally friendly process compared to offset printing. It eliminates the use of chemicals and water, as well as the wasteful generation of paper spoilage during setup. Moreover, we spare ourselves the dirty fingernails caused by offset ink residues.
HP Latex Poster Printing
Our HP Latex printing technology stands for sustainable, odorless large-format printing. Latex inkjet inks are water-based, solvent-free, and comply with the UL GREENGUARD Gold standard. Thanks to this certification, the prints are safe for use in schools, hospitals, and kindergartens.
Recycling material
Printy collects empty toner cartridges, photoconductor drums, and all replaced spare parts, and hands them over to certified waste disposal specialists.
